High Temperature Series-Resistant Heating Cables - Type ELKM-AG to 250 °C Series Resistance Polymer Insulated Heating Cables
It is used in Chemical, Oil and gas industry, Liquid handling, Tank containers, IBCs, Waste water facilities, Instrumentation, Manufacturing processes and devices and systems made of metallic and non-metallic materials.
Type ELKM-AG to 250 °C Series Resistance Polymer Insulated Heating Cables
The ELKM-AG series series resistance cables feature a chromium-nickel wire structure where the energy-carrying and heat-generating components are the same. Designed for safe operation at temperatures up to 250°C, these cables can be manufactured with different resistance values and are widely used for heat tracing in long pipelines. Their resistance is directly proportional to their length.
To prevent excessive current flow, there is a minimum length limitation for their use. Selecting the appropriate resistance value is essential for optimal performance and energy efficiency. Depending on required power, temperature levels, and environmental conditions, the insulation material can vary from PVC to PTFE. With its 250°C heat resistance, the ELKM-AG series provides a reliable solution for industrial heating applications.
ADVANTAGES:
- Maximum chemical and mechanical resistance
- High holding temperatures
- Easy to lay, even in complex structural shapes
- Simple connection technology
- Large selection ofresistances
- Longer heating circuits
- Moisture-resistant
APPLICATIONS:
- Chemistry
- Oil and gas industry
- Liquid keeping
- Tank containers
